Our Workmanship Warranty: What It Covers and How to File a Claim

Every project we build comes with a written workmanship warranty. That means if something we installed fails because of how we built it, we come back and make it right.

Here's how long each warranty lasts, and exactly what to do if you ever need to use it.

How long coverage lasts

  • Concrete: 1-year workmanship warranty on driveways, walkways, patios, and pads.
  • Hardscape: 2-year workmanship warranty on paver patios, walkways, and retaining walls. The block and pavers themselves also carry the manufacturer's lifetime warranty.
  • Trees and shrubs: 1-year warranty on trees and shrubs we install.
  • Sod and seed: not covered by warranty. New turf depends heavily on watering and care after installation, which is outside our control. We leave every sod job with a watering plan to give it the best start.

Your signed contract spells out the full terms, including what isn't covered. If anything here differs from your contract, the contract is what counts.

What a workmanship warranty means

A workmanship warranty covers problems caused by how the work was built — things like pavers sinking because of base prep, or a wall shifting because of how it was constructed.

It's different from damage caused by something after the fact, like a vehicle driving over a walkway, construction by another contractor, or a tree root growing under a patio. If you're not sure which one you have, file the claim anyway. We'd rather look at it than have you guess.

How to file a claim

Filing takes about five minutes on our warranty claim page:

  1. Submit within 7 days of noticing the issue. The sooner we see a problem, the easier it is to fix — small settling is a quick repair, and a season of rain can make it a bigger one.
  2. Include clear photos. Take a wide shot that shows where the issue is on the property, plus a close-up of the problem itself. The form accepts up to 10 photos straight from your phone.
  3. Describe what you're seeing. When you first noticed it, whether it's getting worse, and anything that happened around the same time, like a big storm or other work on the property.

We review every claim and respond within 15 business days.

Why claims go through the form

Your contract names the online form as the official way to file a claim. Calls, texts, emails, and social media messages don't count as filing.

That isn't red tape. The form makes sure every claim has the photos, dates, and details we need in one place, gets logged with a timestamp, and doesn't get lost in a text thread. It protects you as much as it protects us.

Safety issues can't wait

If something poses a real safety risk — a wall that's actively moving, a trip hazard at an entry, a section of driveway that's collapsing — call us right away at 770-530-6476, then file the claim on the form. Safety issues get attention right away, outside the normal review window.

Standing behind the work

A warranty is only worth something if the contractor answers the phone. The best way to never need it is to build it right the first time — deep base prep, proper compaction, and drainage behind every wall. That's how we build. The warranty is there for the rare time something still goes wrong.
